Geary, in his own words:“It would be safe for me to say being (a gay man) means being a good, strong, confident role model. And a good, moral person. (I define myself) as a “FREE SPIRIT”, a “REBEL/ BADBOY”, SENSITIVE, LOYAL, FAITHFUL. Being true to myself, not selling out for the approval of society is important to me. The biggest challenge I’ve faced as a gay man is the stigma of just being a label of what society deems “gay” to be. Also following my heart and not my head. Remaining true to myself no matter what others may think of me, not selling out…..
“There is such a huge GLBT community and I think NY is so huge with so much constantly going on with living, events and such. It’s hard to really have a sense of unity when there are so many vices in big city living pulling everyone in different directions“
