A Note from London…

“Hi Kevin,

I’m really glad my message made you so happy but it’s all your hard work, you should be proud of yourself!

When I was talking about being able to be who I really am, I wasn’t completely honest. My parents didn’t know I was gay at the time. But it’s not the case anymore, I told them on Saturday! And it might sound a bit odd but even just reading the stories of different gay people around the world helped me to take the big step. So I guess I should thank you once again for creating the project.

If you ever need help from a student in London, just let me know. Or if you’d like to expand your project to Asia, I’m moving to Beijing in September.

Take care,

O”

(congratulations, O. although we’ve never met, I can still say i’m proud of you… xoxo kev)

A Note from Oklahoma City…

“What you are doing is absolutely inspiring and I’ve just been reading several articles on your website, and it feels as if I just had a booster load of support pumped up within me, such as the article from Bond the scientist. Im really really inspired by your work. Please keep in touch. It is such unique and yet powerful resources for many gay men, and your website is contemporary and sleek. I love it. It really helped a semi-closeted gay male like me. Thank you.

(hey ZD, thanks so much for writing! i hope to make it to the bible belt of America, to start showing the true diversity of gay men in our country. Lots of love, kev)

A Note From London…

“Dear Kevin,

I just want to thank you for your amazing website and especially the entire project. I’m a 20-year-old student in London and it’s people like you and your activities that give me the strength to stay truthful to myself and be who I really am. So once again, thank you for that.

I hope your last days of this year are as wondeful as mine and I wish you all the best in the 2013.
